Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. They’re addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. By 2030 they will reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%. By growing out your facial hair in the month of November, you can hep create more awareness for the cause.
Since 1975 no one has ever had to pay to be assisted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. That’s becauseof great fundraisers like this, that believe a dedicated and professional aeromedical service is a vital part of our region. Today, the service is there for 1.5 million people throughout Northern NSW.

The Lions Club are behind the ‘Recycle for Sight’ program. The worldwide eyeglass recycling program operates throughout Australia and overseas. The Eye Place is a registered drop-off point for glasses donations. The initiative supplies loads of shipping containers to aid groups in developing nations.
